ABOUT ALEXANDRINE PRESS
Our interest is in the built environment in the broadest possible sense - from urban and regional planning to architecture and environment.
Established in 1979, Alexandrine Press has been publishing Built Environment since 1980; we added the online edition to the print in 2005. But most importantly, editors, Sir Peter Hall, Professor David Banister and Dr Stephen Marshall enable us to continue the journal's high quality and originality.
The same year, 1980, saw the launch of the book series Planning, History and Environment, with which Alexandrine Press publishing partner, Ann Rudkin, has been associated since its inception and of which she is now Editor.
More about both the journal and the series are to be found on the following pages of this site.
