Food Planning - Call for Guest Editors
Built Environment journal invites proposals for a guest editor(s) to guest edit a themed issue of the journal on a topic relating to Food Planning.
Prospective guest editors are invited to propose a specific thematic scope, which could be expected to focus on, for example:
- Urban Food Policy / Planning;
- Urban and Agroecology;
- Community / Guerilla Gardening;
- Local Food Systems / Distribution;
The issue would be expected to address one or more aspects of food security, food system sustainability and resilience, social capital, social and environmental justice, health and nutrition, biophilia, etc. In each case the topic should be inextricably linked to the built environment, so as to be of interest to built environment academics and practitioners. We expect international coverage including attention to Global North and South as appropriate.
