Summary

Frances Holliss London Metropolitan University who has researched the architecture of home-based work since 2001. She is the author of Beyond Live/Work: The Architecture of Home-Based Work amongst other publications.

Howard Davis is Professor of Architecture at the University of Oregon where he teaches design studios focused on functionally-complex urban buildings and lecture and seminar courses on the relationships between architecture, place and culture.

 

 

Shalini Sinha is Home-based Workers Sector Specialist and Urban Asia Lead for WIEGO (Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing, www.wiego.org). She has written extensively on issues related to home-based workers of the cities of the Global South, advocating for an inclusive urban planning and city development approach.
